Product Details

We created this contemporary circadian friendly, low EMF night light that even features a motion sensor. It’s magnetic design means that you can take it off of the wall and use it as a portable night light. It emits a warm amber light that mimics natural sunset, helping your body prepare for sleep. The light is also gentle on your eyes, so you can use it without worrying about eye strain.

Product Benefits

Won't Wake Your Brain Up at Night

Most amber or yellow plug-in night lights still carry enough blue and green light to tell your brain it's daytime. Ember is engineered to avoid those wavelengths, so a middle-of-the-night trip to the bathroom doesn't turn into a wide-awake 2am.

Perfect for Travel

Comes with its own travel case, so Ember packs easily for Airbnbs, a friend's guest room, or a hotel nightstand — the same circadian-friendly light wherever you're sleeping.

Lights Your Way, Any Time of Night

Pick it up and use it as a handheld light after sunset, in the middle of the night, or in the early morning before the house wakes up — steady, circadian-friendly light for hallway walks, reading, or finding your way without flipping on a harsh overhead light.

Great for Kids’ Nighttime Routines

From brushing teeth before bed to a trip down the hall at 3am, Ember gives kids enough light to move safely without the stimulation that makes it harder to settle back down.

Helps You Fall Back Asleep Faster

Your own thoughts might wake you up at 2am — the light you flip on shouldn't make it worse. Ember lights your way without the stimulating wavelengths that keep your brain alert, so getting back to sleep is easier.

Replaces Every Plug-In Night Light in Your Home

If there's an amber or yellow night light plugged into a wall socket in your bathroom, hallway, or bedroom, it's probably not doing what you think it is. Ember is the circadian-friendly swap for all of them.

Magnetic & Portable, Anywhere You Need It

The light clicks onto its holder magnetically, and the holder's adhesive strip sticks to any surface — wall, tile, metal, you name it — so it goes wherever you need it, room to room.

Low-EMF Design for the Bedroom

Quiet, mindful electronics make Ember a better fit for the one room in the house where minimizing unnecessary EMF exposure matters most.

FAQs

Will this wake my brain up if I use it in the middle of the night?

No — that's the whole point. Most plug-in night lights, even amber or yellow ones, still carry enough blue and green light to signal “daytime” to your brain. Ember is designed to avoid those wavelengths, so lighting your way at 2am doesn't turn into a wide-awake 2am. Your own thoughts might stir you up when you get out of bed — the light shouldn't.

Aren't regular amber or yellow night lights already circadian-friendly?

Not usually. The color you see and the wavelengths that actually suppress melatonin aren't the same thing — a night light can look warm and amber while still emitting enough blue and green light to interfere with sleep. Ember is engineered specifically to minimize those wavelengths, not just to look warm.

What's wrong with the plug-in night light I already have in my bathroom or hallway?

Nothing is “wrong” with it functionally, but most plug-in night lights were never designed with circadian rhythm in mind, just visibility. If you're using one in a bathroom, hallway, or bedroom, Ember is built to do the same job while actually protecting your sleep signals.

 Is this good for kids?

Yes. Ember's motion sensor lets kids move safely to the bathroom, brush their teeth, or find their way back to bed without a parent flipping on a bright overhead light — and its circadian-friendly glow won't fully wake them (or you) up in the process.

How does the motion sensor work?

It detects motion up to 3 meters away across a 120° range and automatically lights up in dim or dark conditions, then turns off automatically after about 30 seconds without motion.

How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?

Ember is powered by a 1200mAh battery that fully recharges via USB-C in 2-3 hours (with a red-to-green charging indicator), and gives you up to 4 hours of continuous light or 24-48 hours in motion-sensor mode per charge.

Is it bright enough to see by safely?

Yes — it puts out 80-100 lumens of warm amber light, enough to move around a room or hallway safely without needing a brighter, more disruptive light source.

 Is it water-resistant?

Yes, Ember is IP44-rated for everyday splash resistance. Just keep the charging port and motion sensor away from direct water contact.

 Where should I put it?

Anywhere you'd normally rely on a plug-in night light: bathroom, hallway, bedroom, nursery, or stairs. The light attaches magnetically to its holder, and the holder's adhesive strip sticks to any surface — wall, tile, metal, anything — or you can carry the light with you as a portable light.

What else can I use Ember for?

Beyond the bedroom, Ember also works well as a power-outage backup light since it's already charged and ready to go, a thoughtful touch in a guest room so visitors can find their way at night, and a steady, always-findable light for aging parents or grandparents who are prone to nighttime trips and falls.
