Even the most well-traveled packages can encounter unexpected bumps in the road. Unfortunately, many freight carriers distance themselves from these mishaps or bury the recovery process in red tape. We recognize how disappointing a missing or broken delivery can be, which is why we provide an optional Shipping Protection upgrade. Think of it as a safety net designed to provide you with total confidence and a prioritized resolution if something goes sideways.
This add-on is entirely elective and does not diminish your legal consumer protections. Per US regulations, the responsibility for your purchase remains with us until the moment it is successfully handed over to you or your designated recipient.
WHAT IS SHIPPING PROTECTION?
Our Shipping Protection is a supplemental service curated by bioSpectral Systems to offer your order an extra layer of security:

The Fine Print: Participation in this program requires a modest fee calculated as a percentage of your order value (excluding taxes and shipping costs). Please note that this coverage is not available for digital goods, gift cards, or specific excluded items.
To activate these benefits, you must select the Shipping Protection toggle in your shopping cart prior to finalizing your purchase. This service is non-refundable once the order leaves our facility, cannot be traded for cash, and is non-transferable. BlockBlueLight maintains the right to update these terms or sunset the policy at our discretion without prior notice.
WHAT IS COVERED BY OUR SHIPPING PROTECTION?
What if my package disappears during transit? Occasionally, logistics networks experience delays that push delivery past the estimated window. If your tracking stalls, reach out to our team so we can launch an official investigation. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, BlockBlueLight will ship out a replacement immediately. If the item is merely delayed but still moving through the system, we must allow a reasonable window for it to arrive. While US law requires us to eventually refund or replace lost items, Shipping Protection acts as a "fast-pass," allowing us to ship your replacement immediately without waiting for the courier’s lengthy internal investigation to conclude.
What if the courier delivers it to the wrong house? If the shipping company misdelivers your order despite you providing the correct details, we will rectify the error. With Shipping Protection, we bypass the usual courier wait times and ship a new package right away.
What if my items arrive broken? If your order sustains damage while in the courier's care, we will replace the affected items. Please contact our support team first; we will typically ask you to return the damaged goods for a quick assessment by our quality team before we finalize your resolution.
What if I chose not to buy Shipping Protection? You are still in good hands. If an issue arises, contact us and we will fulfill our legal obligations to provide a refund or replacement. However, without the protection plan, we must follow standard industry protocols, which often means waiting for the courier to finish their own investigation before we can take action.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
What if I provided an incorrect shipping address? If a typo in your order details leads to a delivery at the wrong location, we cannot be held liable for the loss or the cost of a replacement. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the destination details are 100% accurate at checkout.
What if there are general shipping delays? A package that is moving slowly but is still "In Transit" is not considered lost. We will always investigate stalled shipments promptly, but Shipping Protection only triggers a replacement once a loss is officially determined.
Can I cancel my Shipping Protection for a refund? Once your package has been handed over to the courier and dispatched, the protection fee is non-refundable.
